There will be 2 Winners selected by the 18th April 2011: Best Model by People Choice and Best Model by Judges Choice. Each will receive the prize worth total of £1500, including photoshoot with GM Studio head photographer Giorgio Guglielmino and make up artist Mai Style, portfolio, hotel stay and/or make up products. Please note the Professional Judges will judge our finalists base on 5 criteria: Face, Body, Expression, Posing and Personality.

Public Voting for the Final Round will be open from 4th April to end of 15th April 2011 (23:59pm) on our OFFICIAL CONTEST WEBSITE. This is the moment we all have been waiting for…the results of the Finalists for GM Studio Model Photo Contest 2011.

The judges were having a hard time making decision as there were too many great models, both professional and aspiring ones. 25 stunning models were in the shortlist, and deciding who 10 will continue in the contest seemed like an endless job. So we are very excited to announce that, due to the great quality of this year contest, instead of 10, we will make an exception and there will be 15 Finalists by Judges’ choice!!! 1 Model with the highest public votes plus 15 models selected by the judges make the total of 16 Finalists.

The application for GM Studio Model Photo Contest 2011 has officially closed. The general voting for the First Round will be closed by the end of 28th March with the results of 10 finalist being delivered on the 3rd of April. The results will be announced via emails, GM Studio Model Contest website and GM Studio Facebook Page.

Please remember the contest general voting is closing in less than a week (28th March). Keep your votes coming to make sure your favourite models stay in the contest!!!

“Greetings to all,

I’m Maya Murofushi – Winner of Miss world Supermodel 2010. I am currently one of the judges of GM Studio Model Photo Contest 2011.  I’ve been working as an actress and an international model.

I travel around the world for my work and absolutely love every minute of it. Speaking four languages: Japanese, English, Italian and French, I have been collaborating with several model agencies in Italy, France, Dubai, England and US. I also have opportunities to be appeared on prestigious magazine covers across the EU, US and Asia. The next big things for me will be playing a main role in a Swiss production movie that will go to Cannes, Berlin, Vennice and many other European film festivals as well as working on an advertising contract with BMW Mini Japan.

The most important tip I want to share with you as a winner is, never compete with others, but compete with yourself and do your best. When you are 100% yourself, you are the most beautiful existence in this Universe.

It is getting so excited! GM Studio Model Contest 2011 is getting HOTTER and HOTTER everyday!!!

Please remember 9 Finalists will be selected by the Professional Judges and 1 Model with the Highest Public Votes will automatically be selected to enter the Final.

Our Panel of Judges includes: GM Studio Photographer-in-chief Giorgio Guglielmino, GM Studio Business Manager/Makeup artist Mai Style and Miss World Supermodel 2010 Maya Murofushi

It is very important to mention that the Public is our 4th Judges, therefore we need your votes to make sure your favorites get the good chance of entering the Final. Remember that from the Final Round, the power of the Public is the same as the professsional judges. Yes! the most exciting part is we will have 2 Winners: Best Model of Judge’s Choice and Best Model of People’s Choice.

GM Studio Model Contest has proven a big hit! Our Female Model Photo Contest 2011 was launched only 1 week ago but we have already received a huge amount of applications. Lots of young pretty faces and ideal model figures. I am sure the Judges and Public will have a very difficult time choosing the finalists.

Just a quick reminder that the application closing date 20^th March 2011 (00:00hr GMT+1). So if you still shy out there, this is the time to shine!

The general public vote is already opened and will be closed by 28th March for the first round results. Do not forget to ask your friends to vote for you. 9 models chosen by the professional judges and 1 model with the highest public vote will enter the final on the 3rd of April.

The public vote will be re-open on the 3rd of April. This time, it will be 50-50 between the judges and the public vote as we will be announce 2 winners by the 18th of April, one of the judges’ choice and one of the public choice. So what are you still waiting for, as with GM Studio, anyone could be the winner. Not to mention very attractive prizes too!

One thing I forgot to mention is that we have received quite a few enquiries from male models regarding the contest. We will take all these into account and promise our next contest will be for both genders.
