Marie and Richard wedding in Croydon was truly a fantastic and exciting day, from the morning to the late afternoon there have been plenty of very special unique moments, that as wedding photographer I captured in pictures.
I started to get Marie pictures in the morning, just after the bridal preparation at the luxury Selsdon Park Hotel, where I started to take some bridal portrait in the beautiful and charming internal rooms. We were just few minutes away from the wedding ceremony, so we had no much time to stage the photos, but at the end we were very happy with the final pictures, Marie beautifully stands in front of the camera.
I then quickly moved to the magnificent All Saints Church in Sanderstead, Croydon, for the wedding ceremony, I had the chance to take some pictures of the arriving guests before the bride arrived, and also had the change to take some nice portrait of Richard, who was excitedly waiting for his bride in the church.
All Saints Church is one of the most charming church in Croydon and probably in London, it have a very strong beauty and history that you can feel while you are inside, and a very good lighting coming from the colourful windows.
After the lovely ceremony we moved to the Purley Downs Golf Club in Sanderstead, Croydon, where the wedding reception started with a lovely happy and warm welcome from the many guests to the bride and the groom. Here, I started to take many genuine and natural pictures, using a documentary wedding photography approach, and of course I used a more formal approach to take the many wedding groups pictures and few staged pictures toward the end of the afternoon.
Marie and Richard wedding day was really special, in the gallery below you can find some of the pictures taken during the day.
